The problem
Certificates say your team attended. Inspectors ask whether they're competent.
At some point on inspection day, the conversation reaches training. The inspector doesn't ask whether your staff sat in a room. They ask what evidence you hold that your staff can do the job safely.
The question you can’t evidence
Most providers answer with attendance certificates and completion logs. Under the Single Assessment Framework, that is no longer enough — inspectors look for evidence that staff can demonstrate competence in practice.
eLearning completion isn’t competence
CQC’s State of Care reports have repeatedly flagged over-reliance on eLearning. A finished module proves someone clicked through — not that they can do the task safely on a real shift.
Training that doesn’t stick
Skills fade fast without follow-up. If nobody tests what stuck — and nobody observes practice on the floor — the training day becomes a certificate on a shelf, not a change in care.

Before you book
Questions managers ask before booking
No. Every session is interactive — group discussion, practical exercises and scenario-based learning. Your staff practise skills, they don’t just listen to a lecture. And every booking includes a 10-week follow-up with spaced assessments and a full CQC evidence report. If you want a certificate and nothing else, we’re not the right fit.
CQC’s State of Care reports have consistently flagged concerns about over-reliance on eLearning. Under the Single Assessment Framework, inspectors look for evidence of competence — not just completion. Face-to-face training with practical demonstration and follow-up assessment gives you that evidence. eLearning alone doesn’t.
That’s exactly why the flat session fee matters. You pay per session, not per head. Bring up to 15 delegates — £650 divided by 15 works out at under £44 per person — and if three new starters join next month, we train them in the same session at the same price. Compare that with per-delegate eLearning costs multiplied by turnover, and face-to-face training is often more cost-effective.
