The Compliance Confidence Cycle

Ten weeks of checks after the training day. The Compliance Confidence Cycle proves the training worked, not just that it happened. And it writes most of the CQC paperwork that would otherwise land on your desk.

The ten weeks

What actually happens Coming soon

Not more training. Checks, and the evidence they produce.

  1. Weeks 2 to 3 — a short check with each delegate

Catches what has leaked away in the first fortnight, when most of it goes. Nobody is ever shown a score.

  2. Weeks 4 to 6 — you watch somebody on shift

A ten-minute prompt during a shift you were working anyway. It is the only document that connects the training to what happens on the floor.

  3. Weeks 6 to 8 — a second check

Whether they have gone further than the day itself, or slipped back.

  4. Weeks 8 to 10 — what it all showed

Who genuinely retained it and who needs another look. Then the window closes, on a fixed date, and the result is settled.

For you, the registered manager

The CQC paperwork, mostly written for you

Nobody trained you for this part of the job: turning a training day into evidence an inspector will accept. That is what the Cycle is for.

Working today

  • A block that pastes straight into your training matrix — the one piece of admin every manager does by hand, done for you
  • A report that says what the records mean — what happened on the day, and what to do about it, within 48 hours
  • A ten-minute observation prompt — you watch one person on shift and write down what you see
  • A place for anyone who missed the day — if you already have another session of the same course booked with a space on it, they simply join that one

Coming soon

  • One email per window, never one per item — what it is, why it matters, what “done” looks like, and a button that does it
  • A catch-up pack for everyone else — something to work through in their own time
  • A warning three months before certificates expire — so rebooking happens before there is a gap, not after

Why the observation prompt matters most.

It is the one document that connects the training to practice on the floor. A certificate only says somebody turned up. Your own dated note of what you watched them do is the strongest thing in the whole pack.

On the dashboard

Your training day already gives you a live screen. Coming soon

The Compliance Confidence Cycle puts a clock on it.

Comes with your training day

Included in the price. Working today.

  • A live view of your own staff — a real login tied to your home, and you cannot see anyone else’s
  • Four plain states per person — fully competent, confirmed to know, in progress, or missed
  • Your own sign-off — a witnessed, dated confirmation that cannot be back-dated or edited afterwards
  • Never a score — no percentage, no band, no league table of your own staff
  • Filter by course, by training day, or search a name — one day’s group, or one person, in seconds

What the Compliance Confidence Cycle adds

Coming soon

On the same screen, for a one-off fee per training day.

  • Three numbers, in the order an inspector thinks — what was missed and can no longer be fixed. What can still be fixed, and by when. What is done.
  • A list of jobs, not a list of people — what is waiting on you this week, with a countdown, instead of a screen of names to work through
  • A dated outcome that cannot be argued with — at week ten the window closes by itself and the result is frozen
  • Cover across the quiet months — the follow-up checks fill months four to nine, when nothing expires and nothing is booked
The end of it

What an inspector is actually handed

One folder, indexed, in the order the questions get asked. The left column comes with your training day. The right column is what the Compliance Confidence Cycle adds to it.

Comes with your training day

  • Signed attendance register who was in the room, with their job roles
  • Certificate of completion per delegate, in their own name, carrying its renewal date
  • Competency assessment record per delegate — what was assessed, how, and the outcome
  • Personal action plan per delegate, in their own words
  • CPD record entry per delegate, ready for their own portfolio
  • Trainer credentials sheet who taught this, and were they qualified to
  • Training summary report what was taught, against which regulations
  • Delegate feedback form per delegate — their rating of the day, and anything they wanted to say about it
  • Confidence, before and after per delegate — how confident they felt at the start of the day, and again at the end

Most of these come straight out of the day itself. The trainer’s credentials and the summary of what was taught are held on file already — one for your home, one for the course. All of them are with you the same week, gathered in one indexed folder with a front page that says what is in it.

Added by the Compliance Confidence Cycle Coming soon

  • Post-session training report what the records mean, and what to do about it
  • Training matrix contribution the block that pastes straight into your own matrix
  • Manager observation prompt your own dated, written note of watching somebody on shift
  • Follow-up check results whether the learning held at two to three weeks, and again at six to eight
  • Delegate engagement report who genuinely retained it, and who needs another look
  • And the ten-week outcome itself a settled, dated result per person that cannot be edited afterwards — the result, not a document

And others. Together they turn “we ran the training” into “here is what changed because of it”.

Why the order matters.

An inspector does not read a folder front to back. They pick one name, and follow that person through it — were they trained, by whom, were they assessed, what was the result, and has anyone checked since. The pack is indexed so that path is quick to follow.

For your staff

The learning gets reinforced — and never marked Coming soon

Most of what somebody learns on a training day leaks away in the first fortnight. The Compliance Confidence Cycle is designed to put it back, without ever turning into a test.

  • A short check two to three weeks later — catches what has gone, in the fortnight where most of it goes
  • A second check at six to eight weeks — whether they have gone further than the day itself
  • A nudge if they have not done it — it chases them, not you
  • A development pack built from their own wrong answers — the Personal Development Toolkit. The only thing we make that is built differently for each person, from their own answers.
  • Still never a score, at any point in ten weeks — ten weeks of checking that never becomes ten weeks of being marked
