Scenario-based, face to face
Training is built around real care scenarios your staff actually face — the opposite of tick-box eLearning.
Most providers ask you to take the trainer on faith. We publish our Trainer Standards in writing — so the bar is visible before you ever speak to us, and you can hold us to it. The standard belongs to the company, travels with every booking, and applies to anyone who delivers in our name.
Every condition below must be met before a trainer sets foot in your training room — no exceptions, and no “just-this-once” cover sessions. When CQC asks who trained your staff and how you know they were suitable, a published standard is an answer you can put in the folder.
Enhanced DBS checks are a condition of our Trainer Standards — required before any trainer delivers in our name.
Professional insurance of at least £1M is a condition of our Trainer Standards for every delivery.
Level 3 Award in Education and Training (AET), or an equivalent or higher teaching qualification, held before delivering any course.
A written fitness-to-practise declaration is required before a first delivery — so the person in your training room is fit to be there, in writing, not by assumption.
Documented right to work in the UK, checked and held on file before any trainer joins the team.
Professional references are taken up and verified before a trainer delivers a single session in our name.
The honest line: CQC does not register or endorse training providers — no provider can truthfully claim that kind of badge. We say only what we can evidence: training mapped to CQC quality statements, documented in writing.
You are not booking a personality — you are booking a published, audited method. Every session is delivered through the Compliance Confidence Cycle™, so the training your staff receive does not depend on who happens to be in the room.
Training is built around real care scenarios your staff actually face — the opposite of tick-box eLearning.
Sessions are led through discussion, demonstration and questioning — slides support the teaching, they are not the teaching.
Delegates practise the skill in the room and get feedback on it — because competence is shown by doing, not by sitting through a presentation.
A consistent, documented session structure for every booking — and delegate feedback is collected and reviewed after each delivery, so the standard is checked in practice, not just on paper.

No clinical course reaches your staff until our MPharm-qualified clinical lead has signed it off.
Care training carries clinical weight — medication administration, anaphylaxis and emergency medication, epilepsy and buccal midazolam. So all clinical course content is developed to a clinical standard and signed off by our MPharm-qualified clinical lead before it is ever delivered, then kept under review as guidance changes.
That sign-off sits inside a published standard, not a personality. Every trainer who joins Life Care Training meets the same bar before they set foot in your training room — and delivers the same audited method once they do.
Joining Life Care Training is deliberately slower than joining most providers — because the standard is only worth publishing if it is actually enforced.
Every application starts with documents, not promises: teaching qualifications, Enhanced DBS, insurance certificates and right-to-work checks, all verified first.
References are taken up and verified, and a written fitness-to-practise declaration is signed. If any one of the six non-negotiables isn't met, the application stops there.
New trainers deliver the same documented session structure as everyone else, with clinical content signed off by our MPharm-qualified clinical lead and delegate feedback reviewed after every session.
As trainers complete vetting, their profiles will be published on this page — each one shown against the six non-negotiables, so you can see exactly who may deliver in our name.
Tell us about your setting and we'll put together a tailored training plan — pricing, dates and CQC mapping included. A named person replies within one working day.
