For senior carers, team leaders and medicines leads responsible for the safe running of a home's medicines system — advanced medicines governance taught by an MPharm-qualified trainer.
This course is for the senior staff who carry responsibility for a home's medicines system — not just giving medicines safely, but making sure the whole system stands up to scrutiny. It is led by an MPharm-qualified trainer, so your team learns medicines governance from someone with degree-level pharmacy training.

The day goes beyond frontline administration and into the areas where inspections most often find gaps: controlled-drug governance, “as required” (PRN) and covert medication within the Mental Capacity Act, Patient Group Directions, MAR chart auditing, and high-risk medicines such as insulin and anticoagulants.
Your leads also learn how to investigate and report medication errors properly — so when something goes wrong, the response is structured, honest and documented. By the end of the day they are equipped to assess the competency of their own staff and uphold CQC Regulation 12.
